Rooftop Bar Manager

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and service-driven Rooftop Bar Manager to lead the operations of our stylish rooftop bar. The ideal candidate will be a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional guest experiences, and the ability to manage a high-quality bar operation in a boutique hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the rooftop bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver consistently excellent service
• Ensure high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and customer experience
• Manage stock control, ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Develop and maintain cocktail menus in line with brand standards and guest expectations
• Monitor costs, control wastage, and manage budgets effectively
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and liquor licensing regulations
• Handle guest feedback, enquiries, and complaints professionally and proactively
• Coordinate with hotel management and other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing bar environment

Required Qualifications

Essential:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior bar supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverage trends
• Proven leadership and team-management experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Preferred:

• Experience in a boutique hotel, rooftop bar, or luxury hospitality environment
• Knowledge of stock-control systems and basic financial reporting
• Relevant hospitality or bar management training
